I thought creating a customer account gives me 5% off. Where is my discount?

Yes, you'll receive 5% off on every order you place through your customer account. I was hoping this could be automated but I haven't found a solution *yet.

So when you first open and activate your account and place your first order, I'll need to manually refund you 5%.

Please allow 48 hours for you to see the refund. After your first order, you should get 5% off automatically.

When will my order ship?

Your order will usually ship within 1-3 business days.

How long does it take to receive my order?

All the orders ship from Seattle, Washington, so it depends on where you live.

For US domestic shipping, when shipped via USPS First Class Mail, it usually takes anywhere between 1 - 5 business days (in addition to the 1-3 day processing time).

For international mail, it varies wildly depending on which country you live in. It could take anywhere between 7-21 days (or more if the custom decides to take their time for no apparent reason.)

However, during the high volume season, e.g. Christmas time, it may take 2-3 additional days. So please plan ahead, or choose one of the expedited shipping options. (*Please note USPS shipping time is not guaranteed. Once the package goes out, I can't make them deliver any faster. I wish I could!)

Do you offer combined shipping?

Yes! If you purchase multiple items from me and there are shipping overages, I'll refund you the difference after your order ships.

What's your return policy?

If you receive damaged or wrong products, I'll gladly send you a replacement or issue a refund. 

If you have any other concerns about the products you received, let's talk. I want you to be happy with your purchase and we'll figure out a way to make it right.

In any case, please email me at yuko@honeyberrystudios.com within 72 hours of receipt of your order. 

*For products purchased from another retailer, you'd need to contact them directly for refund/exchange.

Do you do custom work or change parts of your existing design for me?

No. I just don't have the time or bandwidth for it. Sorry!

I'm just getting started as a designer/artist/handmade business owner. Can I buy you a cup of coffee and pick your brains?

First of all, congratulations!! It takes guts to pursue your dream and put yourself out there. Hooray! 

Although it's very flattering to be asked to give advice, as a solo-prenuer, my schedule is very full and I don't even get to spend enough quality time with my family and friends. Sad, I know.

As much as I'd like to help every single person who wants it, I have to turn down most of the requests that come from people I don't already have a relationship with.

However, I've written several blog posts about tips and lessons learned from running my creative biz (scroll back to some of the older posts). You can also check out Tara Swiger and Seanwes : two of my creative biz heroes I've learned a TON from. Internet is full of free and useful resources, my friend!

And, a quickie version of my advice for you would be : work hard, learn from your mistakes, don't take it personal, take care of yourself, and always trust your instinct.

I live in Seattle. Can I pick up my order and save on shipping?

I'd be happy to bring your order to one of my craft fairs so you can pick it up in person! Check my Events page and let me know when you place your order. I'll refund you the shipping after you pick it up.
